Time and place

The workshop will take place on Friday, 13th December 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM via Zoom.

Participants will need a stable internet connection. Headphones, a mic as well as a webcam are recommended. They will receive information regarding preparation several days before the workshop.

Neither ASTTI nor Josh Goldsmith will be liable for any technical problems.

The workshop will be recorded. The recording will be available to all registered participants during 30 days (password-secured).

Language

The workshop will be given in English. However, questions may also be asked in Spanish, French, Italian or Portuguese.

  • Get definitions, synonyms, explanations and simplifications
  • Streamline and enhance your research
  • Extract terminology from websites and documents 
  • Turn ChatGPT into your multilingual email assistant

Josh Goldsmith is a UN and EU accredited translator and interpreter working from Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Catalan into English. He splits his time between interpreting, translating, and teaching at the intersection of interpreting, technology and education. Terms & Conditions

In order to cancel, participants must notify ASTTI by 28th November 2024 at the latest (via weiterbildung@astti.ch). For this, an administration fee of CHF 25 will be charged.

After 28th November all registrations shall be final and shall not be reimbursed. Exception: participants who can not attend due to health reasons (medical certificate needed) or force majeure (e.g. natural disasters) shall be reimbursed in full.

In the event of cancellation by ASTTI or the speaker for reasons of force majeure or insurmountable technical problems, the registration fee will be refunded and an alternative date shall be arranged. Apart from that, no further compensation may be claimed.
